APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #7094 FOR BUS REPAIR PARTS
Description
Bids to provide 'Bus Repair Parts' were received from six vendors on March 21, 2007. The bid of FleetPride-Sarasota was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications. The bid of Gary Yeoman's Ford was non-responsive to the one day delivery requirement. This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the operating budget allocated to the Transportation Services Department.
Recommendation
That the bid of FleetPride-Sarasota, to provide 'Bus Repair Parts' in an amount not to exceed $115,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
